In preparation for the upcoming national and local elections come May 9, the Schools Division Office (SDO) City of Balanga together with the Commission on Election (COMELEC) Balanga launched yesterday, May 5, the Eduk-Leksyon 2022 with the theme “Pagbubukluran para sa Malinis at Mapayapang Halalan,” held at the City of Balanga National High School (COBNHS) Covered Court.

The goal of the said program is to educate and remind the teachers to uphold their duties and responsibilities for the upcoming election.

According to COMELEC-Balanga Officer Jenny Manalo, it is their first time together with the SDO City of Balanga, to organize Eduk-Leksyon which also serves as a send-off program for the teachers who will be serve on May 9.

“Hindi natin ito ginagawa para sa ngayon, ang ginagawa niyo ngayon ay para sa susunod na anim na taon” said Officer-in-Charge, Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Ronnie S. Mallari in his message which highlights the vital role of the teachers, and their importance not only on the day of the election but onto the next six years.
